You may have recently noticed a poster on our website and/or social media pages regarding a Christmas Card design competition organised by the Harpenden Lions Club, with sale proceeds from the cards being to be donated to Harpenden Cares.
Entries from two age groups – 9 years and under and 10-16 years - were judged by two members of the Lions Club and two members of the Harpenden Trust. We had some excellent entries and worthy winners and packs of 10 cards (5 each from the winner of each age category) are now being printed.

A pack of 10 cards costs just £3 and online orders will be delivered to the purchaser's home address for a nominal 50p charge (per order). Subject to any new Coronavirus restrictions, cards will also be sold by the Lions at a stall on the concourse in front of the Library in Harpenden town centre on the 4th, 6th, 9th and 11th of December.
