The Harpenden Trust has two halls for hire, suitable for regular classes, meetings, societies, clubs and other such similar activities. They are also available for one-off events such as children’s parties, lectures, charity fundraisers, meetings and much more.
The centre is fully accessible for the disabled and less mobile, next to the bus stop and near to a car park at the Co-operative Supermarket (three hours maximum for Co-op customers) and some on-street parking.
All hires include use of the kitchen which is fully fitted with cooker, microwave, fridge, and constant boiling water. No crockery or utensils are included. Wifi is available for public use. We also have a built-in microphone and speaker system and also a loop system for those with hearing aids.
Separate male and female toilet facilities are provided, plus a disabled access toilet which includes baby-changing facilities.
Please contact our friendly bookings team to find out about availability.
Note: The childrens furniture in the Hall is free to be used by hirers for childrens events.
Detailed terms and conditions are available on request. Hirers should note that:
Renwick Hall is the perfect venue for your child’s party. Plenty of room to run around, space for the Mums and Dads to watch and chat and a kitchen with constant boiling water for that essential cup of tea or coffee.
Local entertainers recommend our halls for their spaciousness, cleanliness and facilities.
Here is what some of our happy hirers have said:
“The Harpenden Trust is a lovely venue and works really well for the classes I have held there. It’s clean, light, nice and warm in winter and plenty of space for what I need. It is in a perfect location with free parking nearby which is helpful for my customers. The booking process is really straightforward too! Would definitely recommend!”
“We use the Randall Room for weekly adult classes, and it’s ideal. Plenty of comfy chairs, light and airy, we love the big screen and best of all, it’s easy for our less mobile students.”
“I wanted to raise funds for my favourite charity so I hired the Renwick Hall for a lecture. The screen was an absolute boon and we borrowed the portable amplification system, so everyone could hear clearly. Use of the kitchen meant that we could have light refreshments ready in there for the interval. And so easy to book. Very helpful booking team. Definitely will be back again!”
“The halls are perfect … fresh, open, well equipped. People who came on Sunday were extremely pleasantly surprised at how good the halls are.”
“Our daughter’s 4th birthday was here and it was a fab venue. We had both halls so also space for a baby chill out area, parents’ drinks area and space away from the disco. Kitchen including fridge for the food too, perfect”.
