Local MP Gains First-Hand Experience of the Trust's Community Support

Victoria Collins MP deepened her understanding of the Harpenden Trust's vital community work during a visit to the Trust Centre on Friday 24th January. Following her attendance at our AGM in October, where she learned about our wide-ranging community initiatives, Ms Collins was particularly interested in seeing how we support residents facing cost of living challenges. Nick Luckett, Chair of the Care Fund, along with our Home Visits and Office teams, shared insights into the Trust's practical approach to helping Harpenden residents. The discussion covered the diverse range of support requests we receive and our methods for providing both financial and practical assistance to those who need it most. The visit included accompanying our Home Visits team on a client meeting, offering Ms Collins direct insight into how the Trust makes a meaningful difference in people's lives. This practical demonstration of our work highlighted the essential role we play in supporting vulnerable members of our community.

We were very proud to be able to demonstrate the work we do to support some of her constituents, and we are very grateful for the support Ms Collins has shown the Harpenden Trust.
