Harpenden Trust’s 2024 Christmas Appeal raises a record £79,167 thanks to our community’s generosity!

The Harpenden Trust has announced that its 2024 Christmas Appeal has successfully raised over £79,000, thanks to the overwhelming generosity and support of the local community. All the money raised in the 2024 Christmas Appeal will be spent across their work supporting local individuals and families during 2025. The Harpenden Trust will be able to continue to enhance its vital work in supporting those in need across the Harpenden community. From Wellbeing programs supporting local GPs; to the home visits team supporting 100s of local people requesting help; to seniors and family outings; to the befriending program; to Seniors’ coffee mornings; to running the Well Bean Community Café every weekday morning; to utility grants for those in need; to delivering Christmas parcels; to amplifying the work of Citizens Advice, MIND, Youth Talk, Frazzled, Rennie Grove Peace amongst many other local charities; to maintaining local community spaces – the Harpenden Trust acts as a good neighbour, reaching 1,000s of local people every year.
