Total Looks (71A High Street, Harpenden), a local beautician, chooses a different local charity each year for which to raise money over a number of events. This year their efforts are in aid of two local charities, the Harpenden Trust and the Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary.
Total Looks are now running a raffle (tickets £2.50 each) to win a box of amazing facial skin care products. This box was donated by one of their suppliers (Total Looks were chosen as one of the salons in this area by them) to be raffled in the salon to their clients and customers. The box of goodies is worth over £200. The raffle ends 31 August 2021 and will be drawn on 1 September 2021.
Harriet at Total Looks said: “the Harpenden Trust and the Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary are two charities we can trust 100% knowing the money will be spent locally. The products are amazing and sell so well within our salon with the nearest alternative to us being London. It is an Italian brand, new to the UK.”
The Harpenden Trust Community Fund previously funded a covered education centre and live steaming equipment for the Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary so they could offer interactive talks to groups of children from schools and Scouts and Girl Guides. Total Looks also supported the Christmas Appeal 2020, acting as a drop-off point for Appeal envelopes.
