Young Enterprise Project - Area Final

The Harpenden Trust Community Fund is delighted to have supported the Young Enterprise project for a number of years. The project involves students at senior schools setting up their own businesses and then trading with a view to maximise income earned while learning the skills required to run a successful business. The experience has proven to be particularly useful to students as a practical input in addition to their academic studies. This year seven teams from Roundwood and St John Lawes schools entered the national competition and at the area final held at Rothamsted Conference Centre Food From The Roots and Ascent both from Roundwood finished first and second respectively and will now progress to the Regional Final hopefully before progressing to the National Final.
