As our premises have expanded and we have new halls available to hire, we are able to host many more clubs and activities for people of all ages. We need to grow our Bookings team to help ensure these fantastic community activities can continue to thrive. Ribbon Cancer Support Group - MacMillan Coffee Morning in the Well Bean Cafe

The Ribbon Cancer Support group were delighted to host a MacMillan Coffee Morning in the Well Bean Cafe on Friday. Our regular team of Harpenden Trust volunteer baristas worked alongside the RCSG members. There was a wonderful spread of cakes and around 60 coffees and teas were served, raising over £500 for MacMillan Cancer Support. Thanks to all those who helped and who came along to support such a worthwhile charity!

Harpenden Trust head to Homedell House for a singalong!

When a guest at the Harpenden Trust tea party found out that our volunteer Yvonne was in a choir, they were quick to snap her up and get her to gather a group of willing singers to join them at Homedell House, the retirement complex in Roundwood. Presentation of Plaque to Batford Methodist Church

The Harpenden Trust Community Fund have recently contributed to the cost of the redecoration of the main hall at Batford Methodist Church which is used by a variety of community groups. Charles Pocock a member of the Community Fund committee was delighted to present the Harpenden Trust plaque at a senior residents coffee morning this week to Peter North the Property Steward and Deacon Sarah Wickett who are very appreciative of the help received from the Community Fund.

Hertfordshire Chamber Orchestra Concert

Over 100 people, including some children and Harpenden Trust clients, were treated to a wonderful concert performed by the HCO on Saturday 14th September at St Nicholas Church, Harpenden. All proceeds from the evening, amounting to an amazing £1325, were donated to the Harpenden Trust.
