Thank you to ... Dave the Cat

Harpenden Trust is very grateful to the support for its activities by a generous donation from Dave the Cat, a Harpenden resident. Dave, a local celebrity with a regular social media following on The Harpenden Network, was a rescue cat living in Southdown. Dave long entertained local people with stories of his adventures and his news and views from Harpenden and beyond.

With news of his demise in the Summer a local lady started a ‘Go Fund Me’ page and many Harpenden people generously donated. On Dave's behalf, his owner has donated a portion of the monies raised (£210) to the Harpenden Trust in Dave's memory. The Trust is very grateful to accept the money which will be used to help our Care Fund activities.

If you want to remember Dave and explore his haunts please visit Southdown Ponds from where you can follow the 10-stage Dave trail around the Ponds and Common.
