Police Beat Surgeries Monthly at the Trust Centre

The local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) is running monthly Beat Surgeries at the Harpenden Trust Centre, No, 90 Southdown Road. These take place in the small Randall Room from 9:30am to 11:30am on a Tuesday and started on 21 March. The Beat Surgeries are a chance for people to pop-in and discuss with a representative of the Police any concerns they may have about local policy and the community in general.

Future dates for 2023 are:

18 April

23 May

20 June

12 September

17th October.

 

Coincidently, the Trust hosts a weekly Seniors’ Coffee Morning in the Trust Halls, No. 90 Southdown Road on Tuesdays,10-11am.

Harpenden Trust Community Fund contribute to repair and purchase of new play equipment for St Nicholas Primary School

The Community Fund are delighted to have contributed towards the repair of the school playground and provision of new play equipment at St Nicholas Primary School. The school PTA have been very proactive in raising funding and the responses from the children confirm it has been money well spent. This is very much reflected in the comments from not just the headteacher and PTA chair but also from the pupils themselves.
