Off with the old... and on with the new!

This new sign, moving the Harpenden Trust into the 2020s, has gone up outside the Trust Centre in Southdown Road. We think you will agree that it is bright, modern and hopefully more engaging.

While the logo has changed, nothing else has and, as the words on the sign say, we are still there to support our community just as we have for more than 70 years. The new logo will grace updated information leaflets, banners and the website, which is also being upgraded.

Last year the Trust’s Care Fund supported families and individuals with grants totalling more than £100,000. In addition the Trust’s separate Community Fund makes grants to local voluntary organisations and groups for specific projects, and particularly to those organisations linked to youth, sport, education and the elderly.

Beer & Cheese Fundraising, 29 February

In aid of the Town Mayor's Charities - the Harpenden Trust and Luton & Dunstable Hospital - Harpenden Town Council is hosting a Beer & Cheese Evening on Saturday, 29 February 2020, at 7.00 pm. The Evening includes beer from local brewery Farr Brew and a raffle and light refreshments.

Sound of Music Sing-along, 23 February

An afternoon tea and sing-along to the Sound of Music will take place at the Harpenden Trust Halls on Sunday, 23 February 2020, hosted by Harpenden Village Inner Wheel. The event begins at 2.45 pm with the film starting at 3.30 pm. Proceeds will go to the St Albans & Harpenden Stroke Club.
