New Summer 2025 Issue of the Harpenden Trust Newsletter

We are delighted to attach our new Summer 2025 edition of the Harpenden Trust Newsletter (click on the link at the end of this News notice). The Newsletter highlights many of the Trust’s activities that have taken place during the past few months, and much of our ongoing work in the local community. You can also learn about the values of the Harpenden Trust, which guide our thinking and our actions and define what is important and worthwhile in the work of the Trust. As before, we also have a guide to what’s on in the Trust Halls and Trust Centre, as well as updates on the work of the Care Fund and how the appeal donations are used to help the people of Harpenden, the many projects supported by the Community Fund, and how the Wellbeing team is working with partners to offer support to Harpenden residents. The newsletter highlights some of the many benefits the work of the Harpenden Trust brings to the Harpenden community, and the essential role of all our volunteers in all we do.

Please do share as widely as you can - with friends, family and neighbours. It all helps us raise the awareness of the Harpenden Trust and our work in the Harpenden community. It can also be viewed on the Home Page of our website and via our social media.

We are in the process of printing copies which will be available for pickup at the Well Bean Café at 130 Southdown Road and the Trust Centre at 90 Southdown Road, We are also planning to distribute copies in several Harpenden locations in the next few weeks.

On Bank Holiday Monday 26th May, Willow Court held a Fundraising Event for the benefit of the Harpenden Trust. It was a great success and included a bouncy castle, tradesman stalls, drinks and hot food, music entertainment and a raffle. The initiative raised £267.50 for the Trust which is very much appreciated and was an excellent reward for all the hard work from the staff at Willow Court that contributed to making the event so memorable.
