Members of the Harpenden Trust's Community Fund were delighted to attend the official opening of the new covered outdoor area for the younger children at Manland Primary School. The children clearly are enjoying the new facility and kindly gave us a lovely thank-you card for the Trust's donation towards the project.
Sam Spendlove, Early Years teacher at the school, commented, "We would like to offer our heartfelt gratitude to Harpenden Trust for their contribution to our outside story area for Reception class. The children are enthused to read and write stories in the colourful new area and loved meeting the VIP guests when they visited us with the plaque".
