Mayor's Charities Event: Family Fun Run and Doggy Jog, 5 September

A chance to visit Rothamsted Park for children and dogs! A family fun run and doggy jog! In aid of the Harpenden Trust - and the Luton & Dunstable Hospital - as the Harpenden Town Mayor's Charities.

The day is from 10.00-12.00. The event is over a short course of 1.3km (just over 3/4 mile) around Rothamsted Park. It is a self-led course aimed at families with younger children (primary age) and their dogs, although you do not need a dog to participate!

There are four stops – each with a clue quest for the children to solve (a riddle to guess a word/object) and an activity for the dog if you have one with you.

At the end each child that completes the clue quest and solves all the four clues will get a small prize and a certificate, and there will also be a treat for the dogs!

It is £3.50 per person, but any adult who is with a child is free.

See the leaflet above. For further details please contact Harpenden Town Council.
