Hi from Heather! …. I volunteer with the Harpenden Trust as Care Fund Secretary and Team Leader for the Library Support Project. I worked in the Voluntary Sector for over 20 years so it seemed logical to volunteer when I retired in 2022. Finding the right volunteer role which fits with your skills, experience and availability is so important and the Trust was really good in matching me with roles that I really enjoy. It feels great to be part of an organisation that has such an impact on Harpenden life.
