Thanks to a grant from the Harpenden Trust Community Fund, residents at Homedell House were able to enjoy watching the Royal Wedding on their new television.
The Harpenden Trust is hosting the popular Seniors Fair at the Eric Morecambe Centre in Rothamsted Park, Harpenden, AL5 2FR on 10 April from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Over 30 exhibitors will attend, including charities, voluntary and commercial organisations offering a range of support, health, medical and welfare services, and social activities of interest to Seniors. Jewsons, the builders merchants branch in Southdown, have provided the Harpenden Trust's Care Fund with a great number of Easter Eggs, having collected donations from their customers. We have been able to brighten the day for many of our clients, young and old. We will be giving the eggs to several members of our Seniors Coffee Mornings, Home Visit clients and Befriending clients.
