Harpenden Trust Annual Seniors’ Fair - Tuesday, 5 April 2022

The annual Seniors’ Fair, now under the auspices of the Harpenden Trust, will take place on Tuesday, 5 April 2022, at the Eric Morecambe Centre in Rothamsted Park, Harpenden, between 10.30 and 13.30. Entry is free.

A wide variety of local organisations will be in attendance to promote what is on offer for seniors locally at this popular annual event. So come along and find out what is available, either for yourself, a family member, a friend or neighbour. Visitors will find a mix of charities, voluntary and commercial organisations – and a wealth of opportunities, information and ideas.

The Harpenden Trust Seniors’ Fair is an excellent source of information about local amenities, groups, services, organisations and tradespeople relevant to the Seniors’ community in Harpenden.

The First Blue Plaque in Harpenden

Steve Pryor the Chair of the Community Fund of the Harpenden Trust was delighted to be invited to the unveiling of the first blue plaque in Harpenden. The blue plaque was installed to acknowledge the tremendous work carried out by Harpenden resident Judy Fryd. Judy had a daughter who suffered from learning disabilities and in 1946 founded an association that would provide help for children suffering from the same problems as her daughter.
