Funding Help for Lea Primary and Nursery School Play Area

The Harpenden Trust Community Fund are delighted to have contributed towards the installation of an artificial grass play area at the Lea Primary and Nursery School. The timing has proven just perfect as it is in a shady area so ideal in the current heatwaves. The school organised a most impressive open day which was very well attended and demonstrated how popular the new area is with the children.

We were very pleased to receive the following quote from the PTA who had worked so hard to get the project completed:  A huge thank you to Harpenden Trust for their financial contribution to make our KS1 playground a reality, we couldn’t have done it without their support. The whole school have loved using the space, making outdoor play and learning more fun and enjoyable.
