Cream Teas at Sainsbury's

Cream Tea 2Cream Tea 1

Yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 3rd October) a group of us enjoyed a fantastic Cream Tea at Sainsbury’s, with delicious scones, jam and clotted cream, cupcakes, raspberry turnovers and lemon drizzle cake, all washed down with a never-ending supply of Red Label tea. It was the first of four teas organised jointly by the Harpenden Trust and Sainsbury’s, to celebrate “putting something back into the community” for 70 years and 150 years respectively.

If you know a Senior Citizen who would like to attend one of the Cream Teas on 10th, 17th or 24th October they will need to collect a voucher from our Trust Office at 90 Southdown Road – or call us on 01582 460 457 - all the vouchers at Sainsbury’s Customer Service desk have gone, due to high demand. A big Thank You to the friendly team at Sainsbury’s for making it such a lovely event yesterday.

Introducing ... Colin
