Community Fund Helps With Learning in the Great Outdoors

With the pressures of the recent pandemic the Crabtree Junior and Infants Schools realised the value of outside learning and were keen to build a shelter that would enable tuition to be undertaken in all weathers. The Harpenden Trust Community Fund was very pleased to be able to help and having indicated their support parents and teachers cleared an area adjacent to both infant and junior classrooms where the shelter was constructed. It provides an area for both learning and play and can be utilised in all weathers adding to the capacity of both schools.

The school is extremely grateful to the Harpenden Trust and the children are excited about using this incredible space.
