This month the Trust has supported 80 Harpenden pensioners with generous contributions to their utility bills, totalling approximately £20,000. This money comes from the Trust's Care Fund and every year a similar amount of money is earmarked for allocating in this way. With rising fuel bills and budgets under strain, it is no surprise that our busy utilities team receives lots of requests for financial assistance.
