Busy, busy, Busy Bees’ Food Donation to the Care Fund

Children at the Busy Bees Nursery in Harpenden have collected groceries for older residents and have donated the food to the Harpenden Trust to distribute to local seniors ahead of Christmas. The Care Fund will be able to use the food with its Christmas Parcel distribution, when we deliver 140 parcels to local residents in December.

We are not sure how much honey we have, but as the children had helped select the food the inclusion of packs of microwave popcorn and of jelly should help brighten the Christmas of a few our seniors.

Our thanks to the children and to Emma Ashley at Busy Bees Nursery.
