A thank-you tea and cake get together was held on Saturday, 25th February in recognition of the hard work of all the Christmas Appeal volunteers. The Appeals team put on a wonderful spread of delicious cakes and biscuits. These were very much enjoyed by many of our volunteer collectors and Area organisers. Volunteers were able to meet and chat with old and new friends, and celebrate another very successful appeal, raising monies for those in need in the Harpenden community.
Nick Luckett, Chair of the Care Fund, thanked all the volunteers for their work, “The efforts you all put in is truly appreciated. Your work means we at the Harpenden Trust are once again able to fund another year of support for those who need it in the local community. Home Visiting, Wellbeing, Outings, Coffee Mornings and so many other important initiatives are only possible because of the money you have helped us to raise. Thank you for all you do.”
